I am sad to report that Moon Pie has died. She was a great kitty full of personality and will be sorely missed. Moon Pie was only a year old and her death was a huge shock. I just happened to take this picture a couple of days before her death. She was having a pensive moment with me on the sofa.

Oh my goodness, what a sweet face. And so young! What happened to her? I'm so sorry for your loss.
I don't really know. From what I can guess based on some internet reading, I think she possibly had an underlying heart issue that we just didn't catch. She was never more than about 6 pounds. A bad heart would have kept her tiny.
She was a sweetheart and a hysterically funny little girl to boot. I miss her terribly.
