Lily and the Cow

Lily the Dog has resumed her cow tipping hobby. Unfortunately for Lily, this cow came with tips. This is the cow.

This is Lily the day after her adventure. The best I can tell is that Lily aggravated the pokey horned cow and it stabbed her through the fence. Lily has a long history of try to bite cows on the nose. It seems likely that she bit this one and it bit back.

Lily needed a dozen stitches to close the hole in her side, but all in all came out of it mostly unscathed. It could have been a LOT worse than it was. Four days later she is back to her normal zippy, goofy self. She does seem to be staying further from the fence when the cow is over our way. Let's hope she has learned a lesson and will quit biting the cows on the nose. Dumb dog.
