Thank you! They are so pretty. Maybe I should get a penful of this kind...? Are they supposed to be the egg kind or the meat kind or some other kind? (I like the silver one the best, I think.) Say hi to Maude for me.

You're welcome. They are supposedly for egg production (not that you'd know it at my house, the little freeloaders...). You might also look at the dominique breed. I have a friend with those and they are gorgeous. They look like little zebras. Her chickens seem to go broody alot too, so you'd have lots of babies. She does eat her roosters, so if you're brave enough to do the deed you could have chicken pot pie for dinner. :)

Thanks! It took her a while, but she has turned into a pretty little chicken. She's not terribly affestionate, but certainly is curious. Can't wait to see what she lays!
