It has been really hot here lately. Highs have been hovering in the mid-90's with a zillion percent humidity. The chickens have taken to hiding in the flower beds until things cool down.
They are sort of weeding as they go. I'm not sure the cosmos will survive the invasion... 
Shorty the silkie nestles down next to Dot the mille fleur.
and Maude! She has eyes in there somewhere.
