These aren't my fault though. I found a nest full of eggs in my little pine tree yesterday. Apparently the babies hatched out today.
I must have shook the tree trying to get a picture, because they all woke up!
Mama and daddy were keeping and eye on things.
And bringing dinner!

I am looking at the parent birds in your photos and trying to figure out what they are. I have been seeing one of these outside my window at work and have no idea as to what it is. Do you know what kind of bird it is?
I think they are mockingbirds. I may just be making that up though. They are just what I've always thought were mockingbirds. They are very noisy and indeed can mock just about anything. For a while they were making sounds just like my whiny dog. :)
I have some of those too. They were making some seriously off the wall noises here too. I wonder what they are.
Love how those babies just open wide!
