The first hatch wasn't a huge success, but I think it was a combination of poor fertility of my girls and the poor success rate of shipped eggs. I trimmed tushies and have upped the protein in our feed. We'll see if that helps. I was going to give it a few weeks and then try it again.
Let me know when you need help with the repopulating. :)City Girlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17438933389870708287noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7842605518482670278.post-60085324646605079422009-06-04T21:34:35.666-05:002009-06-04T21:34:35.666-05:00Dare, calves may win the yuck factor. I'd think a baby calf would be exponentially soggier. :)City Girlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17438933389870708287noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7842605518482670278.post-66559180259010809332009-05-31T19:16:21.260-05:002009-05-31T19:16:21.260-05:00More babies! After hatching with broodies for so long, I was so surprised that an incubator works so well! Thank goodness it does because I have some major repopulating to do. ;)Karenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15374453317841256862noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7842605518482670278.post-17779138082244486882009-05-26T14:52:27.817-05:002009-05-26T14:52:27.817-05:00Amazing! We love the pictures.
The baby chicks have something in common with baby calves in that their first few hours in the world are their ugliest. But then they get SOOO CUTE!Darehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14420839307450880455noreply@blogger.com
